Join us for a special Friday Live show at OmVed Gardens with music by an OmVed regular, sitarist and composer Tommy Khosla & singer-songwriter Ahana.
As the summer sun sets, come and explore the tranquillity of the gardens and d through attentive listening: to music, to the sounds of nature, and to one another. Rooted in the theme of "listening as care", the evening offers a chance to unwind, experience the quiet magic of the gardens by night, and enjoy a shared moment of art, music, and connection.
We will listen to music from Ahana and her new album Soma (Listen here) and Tommy's brilliant repertoire across his work (Listen here) and definitely some of them playing together as they are friends and musical collaborators. Tommy was featured in Ahana's album here.
Weather allowing, this show will take place outdoors so please bring warm clothing, blankets, mats to be comfortable. We will confirm 2 days before the event.

A bar will be open throughout the evening, serving a range of OmVed Cordials and refreshing botanical drinks. We may have alcohol on sale for this event, we decide closer to time. There will be snacks available to purchase.

About the artists
Ahana
With a lifelong affinity for old wisdoms, Ahana is enchanted by things unknowable. UK-born, with roots in India and Portugal, Ahana's music draws from a confluence of genres and cultural traditions. Her debut album 'Soma' is a first glimpse into this dialogue.
If the world leans clutchingly towards conclusion, through her music, Ahana seeks a counterweight, digging her heels into a deep love of mystery. Inviting you to rest with her there, in the unknown.

Tommy
Sitarist, composer, and JAWARI founder Tommy Khosla navigates a dynamic range of musical styles. With his debut solo album, Vignettes, Khosla gained significant recognition, earning features in Songlines Magazine and BBC Asian Network. His work as the founder of interdisciplinary collective JAWARI has also garnered attention, with the band’s LP ROAD RASA receiving airplay on BBC 6 Music. Currently studying under Anoushka Shankar and Ricky Romain, Khosla’s performances include collaborations with the London Philharmonic Orchestra for Genshin Impact’s YouTube concert, playing Glastonbury previous two years and recently playing Royal Albert Hall. Khosla’s work continues to push the boundaries of the sitar, reshaping its narrative in contemporary music.
